Bud Center, I-CAR
Bud began his career in the collision repair industry, working alongside his father in repair shops during his early teenage years. After graduating from WyoTech, he entered the industry as a technician and later advanced into shop management. He subsequently managed a collision repair network before transitioning into a regional leadership role overseeing collision network auditors and field appraisers.
Over the course of his career, Bud has also led large groups of collision repair facilities across multiple states for major MSOs. His extensive industry background includes experience within the insurance sector, serving as both an appraiser and a Material Damage Manager.
With more than 36 years of experience spanning collision repair operations, network management, multi-shop leadership, and insurance claims, Bud brings a broad and comprehensive perspective to the industry. He currently serves as Chairman of the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) Talent Pool & Education Committee and is an active member of the CIC Emerging Technologies, Repair Planning, and Repair Procedures Committees, as well as the Consumer Advocacy Task Force.
